THIS IS A LIVE VIRTUAL CLASS
In this five part virtual class, weather you have knit a Cocoknits Meathod sweater before or this is your first, we will be starting with the collar shaping piece outlined in the book Cocoknits Sweater Workshop. This insures a great fit. Along with Julies tips for creating a sweater for your body type this the Franca is going to be the one you reach for!
Franca is a comfy-casual cardigan with a perfectly slouchy shape. Everything is knitted as you go, including the front band and the free-hanging, kangaroo-style pockets, which means after binding off, you just have a couple gaps to close before blocking and curling up in it!
Knit in bulky weight yarn on US 10 needles.
Experience Level: Participants should have a firm grasp of knits, purls, increases/decreases, picking up stitches, and how to read your knitting.
Supplies: Cocoknits Sweater Workshop book (purchased separately)• Franca pattern (purchase here or buy on Ravelry)• colored stitch markers • yarn for Franca heavy worsted weight or bulky • Circular needles in size 9–11 (either one 40" or longer or 3 separate circulars) • Smaller skinny needle in any size (double pointed or circular)• Yarn snips or scissors • Tape measure or ruler • Blank paper for notes.
