Have you wanted to knit yourself a sweater, but you’ve been too intimidated? Or you’ve tried knitting a sweater and just didn’t love the outcome? In this class, we will learn basic sweater construction techniques. The sweater is offered up in sizes from 6 months to adult 4XL.
Please have the following items available for the first night of class: a favorite well-fitting sweater (handknit or store bought), a blocked gauge swatch in stockinette stitch with a garter stitch edge (4”x4”)* and a tape measure.
Materials: Flax pattern by tincanknits (available FREE on Ravelry), worsted weight yarn for your desired sweater and size, appropriately sized needles for your gauge plus a size smaller and a size larger, stitch markers, and a darning needle. *see website for swatch info: http://www.wikihow.com/Measur
