Lanesplitter Skirt (In-person Class)

The Lanesplitter skirt by Tina Whitmore is one of the patterns that instructor Brenna has enjoyed knitting and wearing the most. It is an advanced-beginner friendly pattern, only requiring simple increases and decreases (which you can learn in class) and knit and purl. The tricky part lies in getting the sizing and fit right, which you will be guided through so that you can make a perfectly fitted skirt.

The skirt is made on the bias, which keeps it stretchy in all the right ways - it keeps it from curling along the edges as well as keeping the skirt from sagging at the butt. The skirt is worked using two balls of the same self-striping color at a time; one ball is designated A, and the the other is B. You will be alternating two rows of A with two rows of B throughout in a very easy striping sequence.

Length: 2 x 2 hour classes: Lesson 1 goes over measurements, fit, and the techniques involved to make the skirt. Lesson 2 we talk waistbands, seaming, and care instructions.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS (use these  sizes to estimate yarn required, but pattern is completely size adjustable)
