Needle Felting 101: Pumpkins

Yarn Harbor

Kick off the school year by learning a new skill.  Needle-felting can be used to create 3-dimensional shapes and small sculptures out of roving and yarn. In this class, you’ll make a basic shape and adapt it by adding design elements and embellishments to create pumpkins. Once you have the basic techniques down, you are limited by only your imagination. Learn how to create blended colors, felt in structural features to add character, and add embellishments to create a unique "critter". Materials:  felting pad or foam sponge, several ounces of wool roving in the green and orange, felting needle. Class materials are not included in the class fee.
