Nica Shawl (In-Person Class)
This beautiful shawl combines garter stitch and lace patterning to fit perfectly over your shoulders for anything from running errands to accessorizing a sundress. The architectural lace of this crescent-shaped shawl makes it fun to knit, as well as versatile to wear. In this class, we will develop chart-reading skills, learn about lace, and discuss how to make modifications to create your ideal shawl. This is a great class for knitters who want to take their skills to the next level! Students should know how to knit, purl, increase, and decrease.

Materials: Nica Shawl by Irina Anikeeva (available on Ravelry), 32” or 40” US 7 circular needle, 600 yards sport/dk weight yarn, stitch markers, highlighter, and a tapestry needle.
