Pub Knits - Goldfish Memory
We’re taking the classroom to the pub and expanding our knitting skills while enjoying a beer, or two! And what’s better to work on while you sip a beer but a large rectangular shawl that changes patterns every few rows?! Slipped stitches, little garter stripes, bigger garter stripes, simple lace, stockinette stripes, that’s what you’ll find here. Students should know how to knit, purl, increase, and decrease.
Materials: Goldfish Memory pattern by Casapinka (available on Ravelry), 3 skeins of fingering weight yarn, 400 yards each. We advise a very light skein, a bright or bolder skein, and something in between. If the colors are too similar the slipped stitches won’t show up. A 32“ US 6 and 5 circular needles, stitch markers, and a tapestry needle.
