Pub Knits: Last Minute Gifts

There is nothing quite like giving a handmade gift and all three of these little beauties can be knit in about two hours or less!  Learn lace, cables and cool construction techniques, all while creating unique gifts for everyone on your list. Students should be comfortable knitting, purling and working in the round. Materials: 

Week 1 - Cabled Mug Cozy: Toasty Warm Mug Cozy pattern by Echo Mae (free on Ravelry), 80 yds worsted weight yarn, ½” or ¾” button, US 9 knitting needle, cable needle, crochet hook and a tapestry needle. 

Week 2 - Lace Soap Sachet: Soap Sachet pattern by Elke Becker (free on Ravelry) 10 grams DK weight cotton or cotton blend yarn, US 5 DPNs and a tapestry needle.

Week 3 - Pinwheel Purse: Pinwheel Purse pattern by Frankie Brown (free on Ravelry) 10 grams sock weight yarn, US 0 DPNs, and a tapestry needle.
