Have you taken Knitting 101, and are you ready to take the next step? Knitting in the round is the gateway skill to hats, mittens, socks, cowls, and sweaters. In this class, you will learn how to knit with circular needles and double pointed needles, use stitch markers, and read a pattern. Students should know how to cast on, knit, and purl. Please note that there will be homework between classes.
Materials: Barley hat pattern by tincanknits (free on Ravelry), 200 yards of worsted weight yarn, 16” US 6 circular needle, 16” US 8 circular needle, US 8 DPNs, three stitch markers, and a tapestry needle.
