Thousands of Elizabeth Zimmerman’s classic BSJ’s have been joyfully knitted over the years. In this on-line class you will learn how to follow instructions to perfection, make choices about when and how to change colors, and make finishing a fun experience.
Skill Level: You must know how to cast on, preferably in the long tail method, and how to knit garter stitch

One copy, either digital or print, of pattern ABCSJ at
Approximately 400 – 500 yards of solid color fingering weight yarn in 2 or 3 colors
NOTE: The pattern calls for Shetland Jumper weight of which you would need
about 4 balls. For a softer cotton yarn try Dungarees Fine by Queensland, 2
balls. Both yarns are available at Yarn Harbor
One 24” or 32” circular needle in U.S. Size that yields about 5 sts/in with your yarn. I use
a Size 5 with the Shetland yarn
Notions; scissors, crochet hook, bulb markers, row counter, and darning needle
