Pub Knits - Slip Stitch Dish Towels
We’re taking the classroom to the pub and expanding our skills, while enjoying a cocktail...or two! You may have heard of slip stitch or mosaic knitting before. It is a colorwork technique that looks like it would be difficult, but is actually quite the opposite. You can create intricate looking colorwork stitch patterns, all while working only one color at a time! These dish towels are a breeze to knit up and with three different styles, will make perfect gifts for the holidays! This class is perfect for beginner knitters, you just need to be comfortable with knitting and purling. Materials: Slipped Stitch Dish Towels pattern by Purl Soho (this is a free pattern and cannot be printed in store, so please be sure to bring your own copy!), 2 to 3 skeins of linen or cotton yarn (or a blend of any plant fiber) in up to 3 colors, US 3 knitting needles (straight or circular), 2 US size 3 DPNs, and a tapestry needle.
