Wild Cider Knits: The Dog Ate My Homework

Yarn Harbor

Were you the type of kid who was always looking for an easier, less complicated way of doing things (or not do them at all)? This baby to child size pullover is virtually seamless and the sleeves are worked by picking up stitches around the armhole and working a series of short-rows to shape the cap.  Students will learn short rows, slipped stitches, decreasing, picking up stitches. Students should be very comfortable knitting in the round and should already have knit a sweater or two as this will be an intermediate class.

Materials: The Dog Ate My Homework Pattern on Ravelry, DK weight wool in an amount suitable for the size you are knitting, US size 7  16 or 24” circular needles (or size needed to obtain gauge); and circular needles of the same length in one size smaller; and needles of both sizes as preferred for working small circumferences in the round, 6 removable stitch markers, tapestry needle, optional waste yarn/stitch holder. Smallest 3 sizes: 2 buttons.
