A truly local wool with a story behind every skein. Taiga Farm & Vineyards raises Icelandic sheep on their farm in Ironwood, Michigan, and their naturally colored wool is spun into a rustic, warm 2-ply yarn. The beautiful shades come straight from the sheep—no dye needed—and are even labeled with the names of the sheep that produced the wool.

Icelandic wool is warm, durable, and wonderfully suited to our northern climate. It also felts beautifully, making this a special yarn for traditional wool projects and anything meant to keep you warm.

Shipping to Canada is based on weight and charged actual shipping rate. Our shipping rate does not cover duty or import taxes.

Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
