This class teaches you about the very basic physics of yarn with a yarn tasting! If you've ever wondered why a yarn isn't what you expected once knit up, or picked the wrong yarn for a project before, this is the class for you. Learn valuable information about how weight, twist, fiber content, and other important factors that impact your finished projects. Find out how to determine variables like warmth, durability, drape and more in advance of making an entire project based on evaluating the yarn alone.
We will learn the basics of yarn construction and get the most out of a yarn spinner's knowledge, without needing to learn how to spin from scratch. This class is great for knitters, crocheters, and weavers alike!
Class price includes a $15 Yarn Tasting fee
Class Length: 1 x 2 hour session
Class Materials: Please bring a size sz 7/4.5mm knitting needle (straight or circular) or crochet hook

Classes are limited to six students, so sign up early!
Cancellation Policy: In order to receive a refund, cancellation must be made 48 hours prior to the class date. No refunds will be given for missed classes or once class has started. We sometimes have to cancel classes that do not meet enrollment minimum, refunds will be given.
