Basic Cabled Hat Class

Are you comfortable knitting in the round and ready to take the plunge into the exciting world of cables? Learn the basics on this cabled beanie! Cabling is wonderful because it looks impressive, yet is simpler than it looks. Plus it’s fun! We will learn how to read a chart and use skills that are applicable to any type of cable. Please note that there will be homework between classes.

Cost: $45 for two, 2-hour sessions

Materials: Rhode Trip pattern by Kara McKinley (free on Ravelry), Pattern is not included in class price. Please Click HERE to visit the pattern page on Ravelry and purchase your copy. You may also visit us in the shop to purchase a copy prior to the start of class. 

Yarn: 150 yards worsted weight yarn, 

Needles: US 8 16” circular needle, US 8 DPNs, cable needle

Other Notions: 8 stitch markers. 

Please come to class with the hat ribbing completed. Tips: For a tighter brim, knit the ribbing on a US 6 or 7. This hat runs large!

Cancellation Policy: In order to receive a refund, cancellation must be made 48 hours prior to the class date. No refunds will be given for missed classes or once class has started. We sometimes have to cancel classes that do not meet enrollment minimum, refunds will be given.
